Salad-centric concept eyeing development across Pennsylvania
Healthy eating concept Saladworks is looking to expand into the Pittsburgh area with plans to bring seven locations to the marketplace over the coming years.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that the city is slowly becoming a hub for nutritional, fitness-forward eateries. Home to several other green eating chains, Pittsburgh will welcome Saladworks to its marketplace in 2018 and continue to establish itself as a healthy area.
“Consumers are increasingly seeking out a more plant-based diet comprised of a lot of vegetables at the center of the plate and proteins as a side item,” Saladworks President & CEO Patrick Sugrue told the Pittsburg Post-Gazette.
