Saladworks plans for growth in fifth-best small market city to open fast casual restaurant

A recent study published in QSR Magazine named Harlingen, Texas, the fifth-best small market city to open a fast casual restaurant in for 2016. The study was based on industry trends and city population and growth.

Saladworks, the nation's largest fresh-tossed salad franchise, and the company's vice president of development David Wheeler says the South Texas Valley is looking really good for development.

“Saladworks has been around for about 30-plus years," said Wheeler.

The brand is revitalized with a reworked menu and see a really opportunity to grow in South Texas.

“We really see a lot of growth opportunity in the Texas market.”
